This textured vase is handbuilt with coils of high-fire stoneware clay and a glossy white lead-free glaze has been used.
To me this vase has something of the female form about it. The lumps, bumps, organic shape and jaunty angles which you can see in these images embrace irregularity and asymmetry.
This work is handmade by me. Each piece is intentionally unique - no two items are the same. I hope you agree that this is part of what makes these pieces special. More information about my aesthetic can be found here.
- Measures approximately 14.5 cm high x 15.5 cm wide (including handles). The opening measures approximately 7 cm in diameter.
- The bottom of this piece may cause damage to furniture surfaces if care is not taken.
